Why print with me when you can get better prices at places like Shutterfly or Snapfish?
Totally fair question! So, here's the deal. You can absolutely purchase your digital files and print on your own at a consumer lab. (I give a print release with all digital purchases.) Honestly, I use consumer labs all the time for my personal photos too! (Side note, if you do decide to go this route, I recommend printing with Mpix - I have found them to have the best quality out of all the consumer labs I've tried.) But, for my favoirte photos or for ones I want to blow up bigger for wall art, I like to get them printed at a professional lab.
So, what's the difference?
Professional labs have higher quality printers and use different printing methods than consumer labs do. They print on higher quality papers and offer more high end finishing on your photos - in short, you will see a HUGE difference in quality. (I know, I didn't believe it either until I saw it.) The other benefit to printing through me is that I will fulfill your order. Meaning, you don't need to worry about if you cropped your photo correctly to adjust for aspect ratios or image wrapping on things like canvases. And, you don't need to worry about your upload settings accidentally compromising your image quality. That will be my job and I will guarantee your final product. All orders get shipped to me first. (Added bonus, you don't have to pay any shipping charges!) I check them and get them to you. And if there's a problem with your order? Well, it's mine. Not yours.
