Hiiii, I'm Jessica. When I'm not taking pictures I'm playing a Disney villain in one of my 3 year old's pretend adventures, snuggling my 1 year old, or wandering around the house singing showtunes at the top of my lungs. I've always had a love and appreciation for photography but what really got me serious about it was my desire to capture my kids' childhood. Before that, I was a music teacher. I taught in a PK-6 public school for ten years! I love music and especially musicals... but I absolutely adore children. The way they think, their priceless expressions, and how they are just unapologetically their authentic selves. I am always seeking to bring that out in a photography session - because it will make better photographs but ALSO because I believe it's empowering for them. To see themselves the way we see them, their crazy wonderful selves. And to see the people in the photos with them - the people who love them no matter what, to see that love and hold it in their hands is a gift. So, I look at photography the same way I look at music. It's one of those things that just makes you better, that can make you stop and remember how incredibly beautiful life can be. <3
